Maria is on the waiting list for a lung transplant and is currently no. 5 on the list, which means she may be called any moment to undergo the operation in Gainsville.
To help Maria, a fundraiser dance will be held on Sunday, June 5th, at the Casa de Puerto Rico located on Curry Ford Rd. and Crystal Lake in front of the Winn Dixie. Tickets are $25 or whatever donation you feel you can afford. Food will be served and music will start at 1 pm and play all day.
